Hey, Engine. How are you? It's almost 4 years. How have you been?

Engine Health & Fitness.. One of my most favorite in my Dubai life. I have lots of happy memories & experiences in Dubai, and Engine had a huge part on it. Actually, I found myself feeling nostalgic whenever I look back in my Dubai life. My experiences were not perfect, I had my up's and down's. But it's funny that I rarely remember the bad ones, not unless I thoroughly think about it. When I looked back.. it's just happiness; from the smiles of the people around me, my laughter for my new experiences, amazement to people of different nationalities, my delight as I explore the beauty of Dubai.

Let's talk about Engine Health & Fitness, or simply called Engine - I landed here when Ate Jascha, our flat-mate told me about the job post for receptionist. After her recommendation, I had my interview with the General Manager - Pauline, and then got the job eventually. I had all the support from Ate Jascha as I started my job.

It was mixed emotions. FEELING BLESSED because after 2 weeks of applying, I finally got a good paying job especially for a newbie in Dubai. HAPPY for my new experience and meeting different people, especially seeing a lot of good-looking guys, lol. SCARED because I was not really articulate and sometimes my English ran out. PISSED-OFF because I need to stay calm and patient towards those ill-mannered gym members. I need to keep my cool even though the member was already "eating me alive". CONTENTED because I was enjoying my job. And most of all, EXCITED because of the GX (Group Exercises) Classes.

Recently, I learned that Engine permanently ceased its operation. A lot of company all over the world has been hit hard by the pandemic crisis including fitness industry. As a tribute, I will be sharing all the memories I had with Engine.

WELCOME TO MY ENGINE LIFE

I ended my contract days after Engine's 4th birthday. It was mixed emotions. But I already made up my mind of going back home for good. So I need to move on, And need to start the next chapter of my life.

It's really good how photos can bring you back in the past. It seems like yesterday when all of these things happened. The memories are still fresh though I can't remember the exact details.

I am really thankful to become a part of Engine Health & Fitness family. Thank you Engine.
